Take a look at this news clip because it is especially noteworthy for a number of reasons.
It illustrates the all too common harsh realities of life that a young lady like this faces growing up in a Russian Village. (And keep in mind that there are thousands of villages just like this one in the FSU.)
- No father or mother.
- Long Russian Winters.
- Lack of running water in her village which means that children need to fill their containers up at the local pump and then cart it back home on sleds.
- Lack of basic infrastructure.
- Poverty and Decay
- Environmental Pollution.
However this video also shows just how quickly this young lady has grown up and risen to the challenge not just for herself but for all those around her as well. Pay attention to the absolute stoicism on her face as she manages to accomplish this.
To the outsider the character and strength demonstrated by this young Russian Woman may seem like a rare exception.
But I know better..
And it’s only because I have seen so many Russian Women who exhibit this type of fortitude and determination in the face of such odds.
And it’s been a real privilege to know them.

WOW! once again I am impressed by the resilience and grace of Russian women - and, in this case, Russian girls.
Just one more reason to travel to Russia to meet them in person and who knows… perhaps even fall in love with one. Ah… to so lucky!

Makes you appreciate and take a good look at what we have. My hat goes off to this girl.

This is really impressive. Also interesting to see the harsh environment Russians still live in.

GL — the girl is shown playing the piano at the start of the video. Is this likely to be her family’s personal piano, or is it more likely to be a community resource in the village?
I ask because you’ve written elsewhere about Inessa’s teeny-tiny apartment, which hardly seemed to have room for a piano.

Hi Basta,
I’m actually surprised at this story coming out because normally Russian girls are reserved and private to the point where trying to do a clip like this would normally be a challenging thing to do. But yes I’m impressed too..
I hope you are able to meet ladies like this as well.

Hi T,
Yes that’s one of the main points.. Being able to appreciate the difference in worlds, lifestyles and values.. This is why Western Men and FSU Ladies have great potential to excel together.

Hi Dawn,
I have been out to various Villages like this so what you see in this clip is absolutely spot on.
And it’s a point I’ve tried to illustrate many times in various posts and comments. That’s why it’s good to be able to see it to believe it so to speak..
Also the ancient and badly out of tune russian piano that you see in the clip belongs to her grandmother and occupies the living room wall.
Since they are in a village her grandmother most likely lives in a very humble home like the one that was burned down earlier in the clip.

GL,
Thanks for providing this inspirational story about Katya and her efforts. I’ll never grow tired of reading about people with the heart and will to help others. It’s particularly pleasing to see a girl so young handle adversity so well.

Thank you GL! Appreciated as always my friend.

Forgive me if this is a repeat and just delete it. But, I just saw a URL pointed out by Digg with over 70 photos of graduation day in Russia. Need I say most photos are female graduates?

They are not all as lovely as usually shown here, but I did not see an ugly in the bunch.

You Gentlemen are more then welcome.
Irlandes.. Yes those photos and that event is a yearly graduation tradition in most of the FSU states. This is a great chance for these girls to blow off some serious steam after a hard year of winter and studies. Spring is in the air and you can see just how much of an effect it has on these girls as well.
Take special note not just at the beauty of the girls. But just how feminine they are and are expected to be in their upbringing.
I repeat what you see there is a normal end of the School year tradition in this part of the world.

Just like the girl that married dear Dad and Grand Dad and on and on.

Wow Irlandes is here, small world.
Check out these shots of the military, something hot about a girl firiing a AK-74 or a Makarov:

Ive wanted to post this link for some time.
Its to a few articles by F Roger Devlin that explains crystal clear whats wrong with Western Women. Since most of the readers of this blog are western men who are fed up with Western Females - it is a very enlightning read and will articulate some of the unformed thoughts in your minds.
Probably best to read them in order of publication -
1) Sexual Utopia in Power
2) Rotating Polyandry - and its enforcers
3) The Feminine Sexual Counter-revolution and its limitations (Filename: Shalit.doc)
Long articles but *well* worth the Read.

It always seems that the darker the outlook the brighter the star that shines. Her modesty towards her accomplishments ring true to what I have seen in these girls. They don’t think that they are exceptional. They simply do what needs to happen to make things right.
Randall,
The picture with the girl aiming the pistol about to shoot is awesome

Thanks, rw-man for tis powerful video! Today when Russian towns and cities are getting richer and richer, the rural area is in a horrible state. I heard that the new Preseident want to make it one of the priorities to rise the villiages etc… hope it will come!
Katya is a typical girl:) however I can imagine there are characters like that in every country…
May 31, 2008 at 3:16 pm
America better watch out, Russia’s got a new secret weapon…….:-) One look at those ladies and some guys will be going to Russia and never look back. The young lady with the pistol is very pretty indeed, and so is the one with the red hair.
